I'm in looooooove.

Yesterday I was wandering around Kmart to see if they had any cute autumnish stuff out. Our "Big Kmart" is rather sad-it smells like plastic shoes and despair and the toy shelves are mostly bare, but I thought they might have something cute by my girl Martha. I bought Jason a plastic cup with ghosts on it and rounded the corner to the Christmas stuff when I nearly keeled over in a swoon.

I love love LOOOOOVE that white Christmas tree. Now we have 3 Christmas trees already, so I need another one like I need another child, but wow. I want this tree. It's pink and white and sparkly and well, just so ME. The balls are pearlescent pink and red and green and baby blue and the other ornaments are the teensiest kitchen utensils! Itty bitty pancake turners and whisks and bowls. Christmas cookie shapes with sparkly "sugar" on top. If I can find a white tabletop sized tree, I'm so snatching that sucker up and putting it in the breakfast room.

There is no way on God's green earth I could pass up those little kitchen utencils.

I Love the kmart retro trees and ornaments!! I have a small white tree, about 4' I think, with a ton of the retro ornaments and some retro garland as well. LOVE THAT SHIZ! I've got to remember to go back to kmart the next time I'm in a big town (Cause my small town has nothing in it, arg.) and check for new stuff. They had some garlands that looked like gumdrops last year that match the color scheme of the tree in your picture, and I should have bought them. :)

I have a weakness for old fashioned Christmas decorations, and have a hard time resisting "just one more" so I can understand your desire for another tree. I saw Christmas cards in the stores yesterday, and was so taken by surprise. Time is going too fast for me!
